My partner and I did our VoiceThread on ecosystems for fifth grade. However, we are experiencing technical issues and you are unable to see our comments and we are unable to add anymore. You can view the VoiceThread though. As you view our VoiceThread I ask you to answer these few questions. How else can I enhance this VoiceThread to incorporate other content areas? Also, any ideas to enhance our unit on ecosystems? Please share your ideas....

TIE 1

My partner and I uploaded all the identies to our VoiceThread that we will use for our lesson. We started planning our lesson by using our documents Blooms and Pedagogical Implications. Our lesson is in fifth grade science and we are disussing ecosystems. We hope that you like it.

Voice Thread Exploration

Today I learned how to make a Voice Thread and how to embed a link into my blog. We had problems getting a YouTube video to upload into our Voice Thread. We wanted to originally do a voice thread on a educational piece. We found it difficult to upload the YouTube video so we decided to take pictures that we were proud of and upload them. I took mine from my facebook and placed it in our Voice Thread. We were able to invite each other and each post comments of the joys in our lives. I think that this would be a fun project for students. They can take a subject that they have been learning about and tell what they know. Watching themselves and knowing that others can watch will give them ownership to their hard work.

I liked the VoiceThreads that were shown in class yesterday. I am in a 5th grade classroom and I believe that I could probably do any of the VoiceThreads in my classroom just make it fit into my lesson that I will be teaching. I could have my students talk about what they are thankful for but have them write a paragraph instead of drawing a picture. I also could have the students talk about nature and give definitions but make it appropriate for their learning level. In my letter to my CT I asked for the TEKS to help me with this project.
